As Vice President, Tina Malott is responsible for overseeing major client initiatives and developing comprehensive strategic communication programs, as well as implementing communication strategies. Since joining M+M in 2007, Tina has been integral in leading successful client initiatives. Her multi-faceted background in marketing communications, public relations and construction communications has been a valuable addition to the foundation of M+M’s core practices.
Tina is currently involved in developing and implementing comprehensive strategic outreach programs for Sweetwater Union High School District’s and South Bay Union School District’s construction bond programs. Tina also currently spearheads communication planning and implementation for Otay Water District. Working in tandem with Otay Water District, Tina has successfully implemented community involvement and construction outreach programs for major water infrastructure projects, as well as general water issue and conservation communication efforts.
A San Diego native, Tina earned both her Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Journalism and Media Studies from San Diego State University. She is a member of the San Diego Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Tina serves on the Board of Directors for Kids on the Block of San Diego, a local non-profit that educates children on tolerance and understanding of social differences due to medical issues and diseases.
